Prices and deals: no AI

Every market value, price history point and "below market" percentage on this site and in the app is computed from real data: live and ended marketplace listings, recorded sales, and published reference prices. No generative model invents, estimates or rewrites a number. When we say a card is 40% below market, that is arithmetic over observed prices, and the page shows the benchmark it was measured against.

Card recognition: machine learning

The scanner identifies cards from a photo using image-embedding models and optical character recognition, matched against our catalogue of printings. It reports a confidence and shows alternatives when it is unsure. It never generates images or card text; it only recognises. Your photo is processed to identify the card and is not kept.

Adverts: AI-generated characters

The characters who front our video adverts, such as Grizzle the goblin trader, are generated with AI video and image tools and are not real people. Every advert is labelled as AI-generated on the platform it runs on. The product footage inside those adverts is a real screen recording of the app, and every number shown in an advert is a real, dated listing we keep a record of.

Building the product: AI-assisted

The software is written and maintained with the help of AI coding tools, under human direction and review. Design decisions, data rules and what gets shipped are made by people. Blog articles are written and edited by people; AI tools may be used for illustrations, which carry no card art or trademarks.

What we do not do

• No AI-generated reviews, testimonials or user counts.
• No AI-generated card images or card text. Card images come from Scryfall under its terms.
• No automated posting or commenting in third-party communities.
