Refer a friend, earn free months of Premium

Most of you found Cardboard Deals because another Magic player showed you a deal they'd sniped and you asked "hang on, where did that come from?" Word of mouth built this thing, so we'd rather pay you for it than pay an ad network.
How it works
- In the app, open Settings → Refer a friend. You'll find your code and your invite link. Share either however you like: group chat, playgroup Discord, across the kitchen table.
- Your friend signs up with your code (or through your link) and gets the full Cardboard Deals experience: free feed, scanner, collection, and the 7-day Premium trial.
- When their first paid month of Premium goes through, you both get a free month of Premium.
That's the whole mechanic. No points, no tiers, no wheel to spin.
Why after the first payment?
Because we're rewarding real recommendations, not sign-up farming. A friend who tries Premium and decides it's worth paying for is worth something to them, to you and to us, and that's the thing we're happy to pay for with Premium time. It also means there's no pressure to spam your link anywhere: one good recommendation to the right person beats fifty to strangers.
The details, plainly
- One free month each per friend, ever. A friend re-subscribing later doesn't earn twice.
- Up to 12 free months a year for the person sharing the code. Refer your whole playgroup and Premium can effectively cost you nothing.
- Credits are valid for 12 months from the day you earn them.
- Your friend must be genuinely new to Cardboard Deals and sign up within 30 days of using your link.
What Premium gets them (and you)
Premium is £4.99/month: custom deal rules (tell me when this card, or anything from this set, drops X% below market) with instant push notifications, plus unlimited scans and market-data refreshes. The people most likely to love it are the ones already asking you where the deals come from.
